Must Mix: ‘Dorothy Michaels’ Cocktail from Baltaire Los Angeles
By Chilled Magazine
Dustin Hoffman Inspired Cocktail Created for Baltaire’s One Year Anniversary.
Pay homage to Los Angeles’ highly praised steakhouse Baltaire’s one year anniversary this month. Named after the restaurant’s first patron, actor Dustin Hoffman (who’s now a loyal regular) and his iconic character Dorothy Michaels in the 1982 film Tootsie, the ‘Dorothy Michaels’ cocktail, which is now available on the new spring menu, features light notes like grapefruit and elderflower to usher in the season. Beverage Manager Marianna Caldwell created the drink, which is prepared with freshly squeezed juices and premium spirits.
