Brown Butter Whiskey Sour
- 1 1/2 oz. Brown Butter Bourbon*
- 1 Egg White
- 2 1/2 oz. of Sour Mix
Preparation: Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously.
*Brown Butter Bourbon
Add 1/2 lb of salted butter to a sauté pan and brown. Pour the browned butter into a container, and add 14 ounces of Four Roses Bourbon. Let the butter and bourbon sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Pull out of the refrigerator, and put into the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove from the freezer, and scoop out butter fat from the top of the container. Strain the bourbon through cheese cloth into a clean container twice, then it is ready to be served.
