Must Mix: Boozy Hot Chocolate from Davio’s Boston

Cuddle up with this adult-version of everyone’s favorite hot chocolate on a cold day this winter, available at the Davio’s Back Bay Boston location during the month of December.
Davio’s Boozy Hot Chocolate
(Makes: 2 drinks)
Ingredients:
- 4 oz. Scorpion Mezcal
- 8 oz. Water
- tsp. Cinnamon
- tsp. Nutmeg
- tsp. Smoked Paprika
- 2-3 Black Peppercorns
- 2 Whole Star Anise
- dash Curry Powder
- 1 oz. Heavy Cream
- 2 tsp Tamarind Purée
- 3/4 cup Dark Chocolate
Preparation: Combine all ingredients except for chocolate in a medium saucepan bring to a boil, and then simmer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes remove from heat and fold in chocolate. Add 4 oz. favorite mezcal or tequila for a less smokey finish serve hot in a mug of snifter.
