Moët Hennessy Celebrates Sustainability with First Solar Powered Flight Around the Globe

By Chilled Magazine

Moët Hennessy is celebrating sustainability with Solar Impulse, the first ever solar-powered plane to make a flight around the world.

The journey started last year beginning in Abu Dhabi, and now it is completing its final stop in the United States in New York City. It will then continue back to Abu Dhabi to complete its record-breaking journey.

The plane is expected to land at JFK around the beginning of June, 2016. The exact date is still to be determined, weather-contingent. Upon landing, the pilots will be congratulated with a golden jeroboam bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne in a special trophy moment, followed by a press conference.

There will also be a Moët Hennessy celebration party the next day, details still to be determined.
