What was the inspiration for your Lime Bite creation? I wanted to make a drink that tasted really good and I love tropical drinks.

What is your favorite Captain Morgan cocktail? Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Orange and Cranberry Juice.

What is the most important tool a bartender must have? Being quick on your feet.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a bartender? Always check ids no matter what.

Tell us one thing about tending bar that we may not know. Hey a girl can’t reveal all her secrets.

How do you deal with overly intoxicated consumers? I want to make sure that person is ok and see if any of their friends are nearby and try my best to make sure they have a safe ride home.

 

Captain’s Berry Berry Bite

Ingredients:

3/4 Captain Morgan Lime Bite
1/2 Peach schnapps
1/4 Berry schnapps
Equal parts of cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice
Garnish cherry, lime, orange slice on a umbrella toothpick

Preparation:

Fill tall glass with ice. Mix and shake all ingredients in shaker. Pour over ice. Poke toothpick through orange, lime and then cherry drop into drink with drink umbrella.

What was the inspiration for your Lime Bite creation? I love margaritas. and Mexico. It just seemed like the right fit!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a bartender? Know your booze. Taste, smell, and mixing.

How do you deal with overly intoxicated consumers? I don’t. The door man does….and thank goodness!

Biteria

Ingredients:
3/4 oz. Lime Bite
3/4 oz.  Damiana
Lime Wedges
Splash Simple Syrup
Splash Soda
Splash Sour
Salt (for rim)

Preparation:
Muddle lime. Add Lime Bite, Damiana and sour. Shake. Pour into salt rimmed glass and add a splash of soda.

What was the inspiration for your Lime Bite creation? The Orange Julius has been my favorite drink so I wanted to recreate it with Captain Morgan.

What is your favorite Captain Morgan cocktail? My creation the Orange Julius Bite.

What is the most important tool a bartender must have? A wide variety of glassware is a must.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a bartender? Understand your alcohol.

Tell us one thing about tending bar that we may not know. It can be a dirty business.

How do you deal with overly intoxicated consumers? Ask them politely to leave and replace their drink with water or coffee.

Captain’s Orange Bite

Ingredients:

3/4 oz. Parrot Bay Orange Rum
1/2 oz. Captain Morgan Lime Bite
1/4 oz. Parrot Bay Coconut Rum
Cranberry juice
Sprite
Lemons, Limes & Oranges

Preparation:
In a tall glass filled with ice, muddle fresh Oranges, Limes and Lemons. Add Lime Bite and Parrot Bay Orange & Coconut Rum. Add 3 oz. of Cranberry juice, shake vigorously. Top with splash of Sprite and garnish with a cherry or lime.
