Jose Cuervo partnered with The Heath at the McKittrick Hotel to celebrate Dia de los Muertos and launch the new limited edition bottle of Jose Cuervo Dia de los Muertos Tradicional.
In celebration of the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead), Jose Cuervo Tradicional launched an exclusive, limited edition bottle.
As the first 100% agave tequila created over 220 years ago, Jose Cuervo Tradicional is embracing Day of the Dead to pay tribute to Mexico’s rich cultural heritage. Typically observed on November 1st, the two-day festival of Dia de los Muertos honors deceased friends and family with spirited festivals, elaborately decorated altars, and of course, festive food and drink.
The new bottle design features a traditional Day of the Dead skull, representing the graphic icon of the holiday that often is decorated on faces and used on the traditional altars erected to honor the spirits of loved ones. Jose Cuervo Tradicional is the original recipe created by José Antonio de Cuervo himself and remains unchanged after over 220 years.
Tradicional is distilled from 100% blue agave and aged for two months in oak barrels at the brand’s home, La Rojena, in the town of Tequila in Mexico. Tradicional’s rich heritage, intricate production and smooth, complex taste have made it the best-selling premium tequila in all of Mexico.
