Iconic Australian wine brand, Jacob’s Creek, is announcing the release of Two Lands, a new range of wines produced as a collaborative project between the winery’s Chief Winemaker Bernard Hickin and award-winning Napa winemaker, Ehren Jordan. The range will be exclusively available in the U.S. beginning in March 2015.

Two Lands marks Jordan’s first exploration of Australian terroir, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge of California winemaking. Together with Hickin, who boasts 35 years of experience in the Barossa Valley, the collaboration aims to marry California winemaking with true Australian varietal character—resulting in a range of four wines, including a Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Grigio.

“Partnering with Ehren on Two Lands was a wonderful opportunity to share our expertise and bring the best of each of our country’s winemaking crafts together to create something truly unique in the spirit of co-creation,” explained Hickin. “We like to call Two Lands a Californian expression of Australian wine.”

Hickin’s strong understanding of the vineyards as well as the vibrant character of Australian fruit worked hand in hand with Jordan’s boutique approach to winemaking, which added additional complexity and distinctiveness to the resulting wines.

Jordan adds, “Traveling to South Australia has been a fascinating creative process which has allowed me to work with flavors not normally available to me in North America. The fantastic quality of fruit grown on the Jacob’s Creek vineyards gave me the opportunity to weave layers of flavor into the wines—resulting in a range that I’ve very proud to put my name to.”

Available in retail outlets across the U.S. beginning in March 2015, the range of Two Lands wines includes:

• Jacob’s Creek Two Lands Cabernet Sauvignon 2013: A generous, rich and smooth cabernet with notes of blackberry and plum, balanced perfectly with a hint of oak. (SRP: $13.99)
• Jacob’s Creek Two Lands Chardonnay 2014: A soft, generous Chardonnay with ripe melon and white peach flavors, cut through with zesty citrus notes and finished with a touch of oak. (SRP: $13.99)
• Jacob’s Creek Two Lands Shiraz 2013: A full-bodied, flavorful Shiraz showing ripe red berry fruits, subtle oak and a prolonged finish. (SRP: $13.99)
