Hendrick’s Gin’s “Voyages Into the Unusual” Wins Gold Stevie Award for “Brand Experience of the Year” at the 2013 American Business Awards

Hendrick’s Gin’s “Voyages Into The Unusual” event series has won a Gold Stevie® Award for “Brand Experience of the Year” at the 11th Annual American Business Awards on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel.

More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.

Hendrick’s Gin’s “Voyages Into The Unusual” was a high-impact experiential five city road show featuring awe-inspiring scenes, creative cocktail creations and a scintillating cast of characters. The three-day event series visited Hendrick’s top markets: San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia and New York City from June to December 2012. In each city, Hendrick’s Gin and fellow journeyers bid farewell to the humdrum, unfastened their senses and ventured beyond what was known. Hendrick’s Gin transformed each venue into a highly unusual realm, complete with a grand Explorer’s Lounge, a frenzied Botanist’s Den and a full scale Apothecary Shop. Each event featured an array of tipples, from the signature Hendrick’s & Tonic to more complex creations such as the “Traveling Punch,” which was modified to reflect the best local and seasonal ingredients each city had to offer.

Hendricks-VITU-CocktailsThis year, Hendrick’s Gin will return for its second annual “Voyage Into The Unusual,” bringing a plethora of unusual surprises and curious enjoyments to six cities nationwide. The event kicked-off in Houston, TX on May 21, followed by Austin, TX on May 29; and it will travel to Los Angeles, CA (Aug. 20-21), Chicago, IL (Sept. 18-19), Boston, MA (Oct. 7) and conclude in Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 23).
