‘For The Love Of Cocktails’ Expands to Downtown Las Vegas with Pub Crawl and Food Truck Competition

BACK BAR USA’s three-day cocktail celebration, “For The Love Of Cocktails,” will expand to the flourishing Downtown Las Vegas neighborhood with its first ever bar crawl and food truck competition beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11th, 2016.

The “For The Love Of Cocktails” Downtown Las Vegas bar crawl will highlight some of the neighborhood’s most popular drinking destinations including Downtown Container Park’s Bin 702 and Oak & Ivy, as well as Gold Spike, Carson Kitchen, Glutton, Therapy, Downtown Cocktail Room, La Comida, Inspire Theatre, Tokyo 365, Silver Dollar, Velveteen Rabbit, Park on Fremont, Commonwealth, Atomic Liquors, Griffin and Herbs & Rye. Each participating bar will feature a unique branded cocktail experience complete with live music, specialty cocktails and other surprises.

Sponsored by the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG), the “USBG Cocktail Truck Wars” will feature six top USBG mixologists who will be paired with six Las Vegas chefs to create unforgettable food and drink pairings, ultimately competing for the grand title. Participating chefs include Justin Kingsley, instructor at Art Institute; Josh Clark, chef and owner of The Goodwich; Mike Minor, chef and owner of Truck-U BBQ; Gina Marinelli; Christian Guzman, chef and owner of Dragon Grille Food Truck; and Daniel Krohmer, chef and owner of Other Mama. The “USBG Cocktail Truck Wars” will be the last stop on the evening’s bar crawl, and will award a grand prize to the winning truck and mixologist duo. The “USBG Cocktail Truck Wars” will begin at 10 p.m. at Gold Spike.

Tickets to the Downtown Bar Crawl and USBG Cocktail Truck Wars are available for $50 per person. All tickets are available for purchase at ForTheLoveofCocktails.com and include one cocktail at each participating location.
