The festival takes place from June 2nd – 4th, 2017, with events geared toward both hospitality professionals and sipping & dining enthusiasts. It includes seminars, cocktail samplings, and fundraising events benefitting select organizations.

Friday, June 2nd, 2017, 6 to 9pm, Margarita Trail Taco Wars:
Presented by Tourism Santa Fe and El Tesoro, Patron, and Sauza tequilas in the Santa Fe Convention Center courtyard from 6 to 9 pm. Venues will present their own version of a street taco and guests will vote for their favorite! The winner of the “Taco Wars” will have $250 donated to the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico in their name. A portion of the $20 ticket also goes to the Children’s Cancer Fund. This event is sponsored in part by Tourism Santa Fe.
Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at 10am, Tony Abou-Ganim’s 40-Mile Fundraising Bike Ride:
Regarded as one of the most pioneering bar professionals in the world, Abou-Ganim leads this 40-mile fundraising bike ride for the Helen David Relief Fund, which supports bartenders battling breast cancer, and is presented by Campari USA. It begins and ends at Skylight Santa Fe and is followed by a lunch to kick off Negroni Week, a national celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails, and an effort to raise money for charities around the world. All cyclists are welcome.
Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, 5 to 7pm, The Chef & Shaker Challenge returns to Scottish Rite Temple:
This year, guests will be treated to pre-event cocktails and Dale DeGroff’s one-man show On The Town presented by Gentleman Jack whiskey in the theater. After the show, the ballroom doors will open and guests ascend into the Chef & Shaker Challenge where a dozen beloved chefs present their food and cocktail pairings. Attendees pick the winner of the Popular Vote and a panel of professional judges choose “the Judges Pick.” Each winning chef receives $500 to donate to his or her favorite local charity. Also, a portion of the $85 ticket will support Cooking with Kids.
This year for the first time, the second annual Santa Fe Cocktail Week and the first-ever ABQ Cocktail Week run the entire week leading up to the Festival and comprise dozens of local restaurants, bars and hotels featuring their own signature cocktail. Official participants will be eligible for “Best Cocktail” and “Bartender of the Year” awards. Voting will take place on the festival website, and winners will be announced at the Craft Collective on Sunday afternoon, June 4th, 2017, at Skylight Santa Fe.
On Thursday, June 1st, the first-ever cocktail pairing dinner of Santa Fe Cocktail Week takes place at the famed Coyote Café presented by the William Grant & Sons portfolio. Tickets are $125 and quantities are limited.
