Skinny DIY Recipes by Haru:  For those who want to sip under the sun at the beach or BBQ, Haru is sharing their recipe for the Watermelon Fizz 100 calorie cocktail. Haru spiked everyone’s favorite summer fruit and mixed it with soda water and tequila to make a refreshing summer libation. (cocktail recipe below)

Calorie Cutting Tips for Summer Drinking:

    • To keep your cocktails skinny, use soda water as a mixer to cut the caloric count almost in half
    • Fruity Flavors: Use your favorite summer fruit to naturally sweeten up your libration, instead of high calorie purees. Some suggestions include watermelon, strawberries and oranges
    • Asian Infusion: Have your cocktail made with sake, shochu, or soju; these spirits tend to have less calories than the staple ones such as vodka, gin and whiskey.
