Chillin’ with Ingrid Levin

Ingrid Levin is the creator and founder of the new Ingrid Madison Blog, IngridMadisonAve.com.

Levin, a former model who currently lives in the hustle and bustle of beautiful New York City, named the blog after her first name and the famous Madison Avenue street. The blog features Ingrid’s thoughts and advice on love, sex, luxury life, travel, beauty and technology.

Levin has almost 30 years of dating and living experience and has been through the ups and downs of previous engagements and marriages. Lessons learned and now in a happy and successful marriage, Ingrid aims to help empower, inspire and enlighten both men and women to live the best and happiest life possible by sharing her tips and tricks to help those avoid the same mistakes and to catch red flags when it comes to sex, dating and relationships. Ingrid is also a lover of all things beauty, travel, and tech. Ingrid has traveled all over the world to places like the Amalfi Coast, Nantucket, Monaco, Ibiza, etc. and shares her favorite places to stay and visit. She also loves trying new beauty products and writing about the new beauty trends. Overall, Ingrid hopes her posts will help her readers better themselves psychologically and spiritually.

Chilled caught up with Ingrid to get her opinion on food and drink. Her choice of Martini sounds tasty!

Tell us a bit about the projects you are working on.

I view my mind as a constant project I am working on on a daily basis.

With your busy schedule, what do you like to do with your downtime?

I love to read. It calms and relaxes me. One guilty pleasure is watching Real Housewives of New York, Miami, and Beverly Hills.

When you go out to eat, where do you like to dine?

I enjoy dining at Avra Madison, Balthazhar and Cipriani’s downtown in Soho; the food is delicious and the staff is amazingly sweet and welcoming. Plus, it’s great people watching.

What types of dishes do you usually order?

Salads, veggies, any tartare, or fish.  I enjoy ordering two appetizers as entree dishes are too big for my taste.

Do you cook?

Occasionally I enjoy cooking. It’s hard to cook living in New York because the most fabulous restaurants are steps away from my apartment.

What types of drinks do you order when out?

Bellini’s, Bloody Mary’s, red, rose, or white wine, Champagne, and Prosecco. I look forward to a delicious drink when socializing with friends.

Do you prepare drinks at home?

Yes, I love to prepare drinks for friends, but not alone at my apartment. I am more of a social drinker.

Do you own a home bar?

I do not have a home bar, but I like to keep plenty of alcohol for guests.

If you did own a home bar, what would it be stocked with?

If I were to own a home bar, I would stock it with world-wide Whisky, Bourbon, Red, White, Rose, wine, Vodka, Champagne, Prosecco, and Sake.

What would your ideal bar look like?

My ideal home bar would be sleek with a minimalist design yet complete ease for guests to gather and enjoy their drink.

What is your favorite drink/cocktail?

Lychee Martini. I don’t drink it often because I like to keep it bikini ready, but when I want to go off the rails, that’s my go-to drink.

Have you ever been a bartender?

Never been a bartender, but maybe in my next life. I would like to be one because I think it would be fun.
