The original Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers opened its doors in SoHo in early March 2015, serving up traditional and innovative takes on the all American burger.
Black Tap is a laid-back luncheonette style establishment with lots and lots of incredible milkshakes (made to order with booze if one so desires- yes please!!) and an even more exciting selection of American craft beers on tap.
The food will take you back to a time when things were simple and high quality, with side dishes that include hand-cut fries and crispy buttermilk onion rings and a full selection of fresh market vegetables and organic salads for those desiring a healthier alternative.
In October 2015, the second Black Tap venture, Black Tap Meatpacking opened, offering a similar menu to that of Black Tap SoHo but with more of a sports bar vibe. The concept of the Black Tap brand is centered on offering a great American burger and beer but also catering to the more health-conscious consumer with offerings like the burger salad and market vegetable side dishes.
