Glenfiddich Single Malt’s 125th Anniversary Celebration, to be held on Thursday, March 15th on Liberty Island. The highlight of the evening will be a live Christie’s auction of Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve, a 55 year old whisky that caused a sensation when it broke the world record for most expensive auctioned single malt, fetching a price of $72,630 for Bottle #1 at Bonham’s in London in December. Only 11 bottles of this exceptionally fine and rare whisky are available worldwide, and Bottle #3 will be the first one made available in the United States.

Adrian Grenier will serve as the Master of Ceremonies at Glenfiddich’s 125th Anniversary Gala, held at the base of the Statue of Liberty.

The evening will feature:

Live auction of Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve Bottle #3, a William Grant family heirloom and concurrently the world’s most valuable single malt Scotch. Bottle #1 sold for $72,632, breaking the world auction record for whisky. Prince Harry recently auctioned off Bottle #2 just last week, raising £44,000 for his chosen charity, Walking with the Wounded.

All proceeds of the auction will benefit Grenier’s non-profit organization, SHFT, which supports today’s pioneering artists, storytellers, and designers whose collective mission is to support the burgeoning sustainable marketplace where design and innovation cross paths.

Bidding is open to the public. Interested bidders should contact info@glenfiddich.com
