By Chilled Magazine

Bar Convent Brooklyn (BCB), an extension of Bar Convent Berlin, is coming to the Brooklyn Expo Center on June 12-13, 2018.

Now in its 12th year, the Bar Convent concept has grown from a small industry meeting to one of the leading international trade shows for the bar and beverage industry.

“Bar Convent exhibitors and speakers create an environment for not only the exchange of ideas and best practices, but for building valuable relationships and getting business done. The inaugural Bar Convent Brooklyn brings that winning formula to one of the most important brand-building markets in the world. It’s exciting news for the U.S. spirits industry.”
– Harry Kohlmann, CEO of Park Street, which works with over 1,000 domestic and international alcoholic beverage brands

Reed Exhibitions, a successful organizer of more than 500 events in 43 countries, manages Bar Convent Berlin and will bring the show to New York.

“In Europe, Bar Convent has proved to be the B2B event for connecting the global beverage industry with bartenders and food and beverage professionals from all over the world. Now, we are going to focus on the American market. The New York metropolitan area has the highest concentration of bartenders in the country, making it an ideal location for professionally sampling alcohol as a semi-luxury. We are looking forward to the first edition of Bar Convent Brooklyn this June.”
