“BACARDÍ is proud of its Cuban roots, and we especially appreciate the unstoppable energy that the music brings to the party. Music has always been a part of the brand’s DNA – from Prohibition parties in Havana, Cuba, in the 1920s, through a myriad of radio shows until the late ‘50s. In addition to having paid homage to the gems of our Cuban past, this year we begin honoring contemporary Cuban musical legends, which approach their craft with the same relentless passion that BACARDÍ rum did then, that it does now, and that will continue to do in the future.”
