Ardbeg Balanced Cocktail Competition

A summer cocktail inspired by my road trip through Sicily.


  • 2 oz. Ardbeg scotch whiskey
  • 3/4 oz. honey syrup
  • 3/4 oz. blood orange juice
  • Dash of orange bitters


Shake 2 oz ardbeg, honey syrup, and fresh squeezed blood orange juice for at least 30 seconds. Hard. Add ice, re-shake for 15 seconds and double strain into a coupe or cocktail glass. Add a dash of orange bitters with ice.
