The reason for Ardbeg Day? It’s a historic tradition! Every summer, the Islay Whisky Festival takes place for an entire week on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. On the final weekend of the festival, the 400 year old Ardbeg Distillery throws opens its doors for ‘Ardbeg Day’ to welcome fans from all over the world. This year Ardbeg took the celebration to single malt whisky fans around the world to toast its newest Limited Edition release. Guests in South Florida were among the first in the world to sample Auriverdes, which hits the shelves of US liquor stores throughout the month of June.
