No idea how to celebrate Brazilian Independence Day on September 7? Fique tranquilo, we’ve got you covered. New Carnaval Brazilian Sparkling Wine is the perfect celebratory beverage. The bubbly, handcrafted at Brazil’s most awarded winery, is available in white and red expressions and is a member of the wildly popular Moscato varietal. Plus, at just $14.99 per bottle it makes uncorking the sun and samba of Brazil an affordable option. If your readers are in need of an easy-to-follow recipe to serve to guests, encourage them to serve “The Samba,” a refreshing drink with a splash of rum and natural strawberry puree. Que gostoso!

The Samba:

  • 1 oz Cabana Cachaça
  • 2 oz Carnaval Sparkling Moscato
  • 1 oz Strawberry purée or 2 strawberries muddled ½ oz simple syrup ½ oz fresh lemon juice

Preparation: Shake all of the ingredients except the Carnaval. Then pour the Carnaval into the shaker with the rest of the mix. Give 2 stirs then pour into a champagne flute. Garnish with a strawberry slice.
