Belvedere Vodka Releases Limited Edition Silver Sabre amfAR 2014

Belvedere Vodka, the ‘World’s Original Luxury Vodka” has descended upon the Cannes film festival with a number of key activations this past week. Of Note, Belvedere Vodka has partnered with amfAR, the foundation for AIDS research as the official vodka and will be releasing a limited edition Belvedere Silver Sabre bottle to support the star-studded amfAR Galla in Cannes.

The amfAR Gala is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the Cannes Film Festival at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, and is widely considered the Festival’s most exclusive gatherings. The black-tie event is celebrated for its glittering guest list, its unpredictable live auction, and its unrivaled success in generating funds for lifesaving AIDS research. The evening will include a line-up of celebrities including Sharon Stone and performers including Lana Del Rey, Robin Thicke and Aloe Blacc.This is a cause near and dear to Belvedere Vodka’, as the spirits purveyor is a proud partner of Project (RED).

This year marks Belvedere Vodka’s seventh year participating at Cannes. To celebrate Belvedere’s Vodka’s involvement with amfAR, a limited edition Silver Sabre magnum has been created exclusively for the occasion and will be on showcase at the official amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS after-party.

Commenting on Belvedere Vodka’s participation with amfAR, Charles Gibb, President of Belvedere Vodka said, “We are proud to be partnering with amfAR and the organization’s lifesaving work with HIV research and prevention. For its fourth consecutive year, Belvedere Vodka has partnered with (RED) to launch a BELVEDERE (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition bottle in support of HIV research. (BELVEDERE)RED contributes 50% of its profits to the Global Fund to help eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa. Since its launch in 2011, contributions from the sale of (BELVEDERE)RED have provided funding for more than 6.25 million days of life-saving antiretroviral drugs and enough to support more than 12,500 HIV positive women giving birth to healthy babies.
