BACARDI U.S.A. INC. ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF ERISTOFF™ IN THE UNITED STATES
Triple Distilled and Charcoal Filtered Using Original Recipe Created in 1806
Bacardi U.S.A., Inc. announces the U.S. launch of one of Europe’s most popular spirits, ERISTOFF™ Vodka and Vodka Specialties. Ranked one of the top 100 most powerful spirits and wine brands in the world, ERISTOFF will serve as the company’s standard U.S. vodka offering, rounding out a stellar portfolio which boasts GREY GOOSE® Vodka and 42BELOW® Vodka.
Symbolized by its iconic logo of the wolf howling at a crescent moon, ERISTOFF has become one of the fastest growing global brands, positioned as the eleventh largest vodka brand in the world by value. The wolf’s image is a clue to the brand’s origins in Georgia, once called the “Land of the Wolf.” ERISTOFF princes revered the animal for its physical and mystical power, an image that resonates with ERISTOFF party prowlers today.
“Adding a mid-priced vodka to our portfolio will provided limitless opportunities for growth as we continue to leverage the image of the wolf through captivating packaging and experiential programs across the United States,” said Joseph Metevier, brand director, ERISTOFF Vodka and Vodka Specialties. “We are immensely proud of ERISTOFF, its heritage and its accolades, and are thrilled with the value the brand will bring to retailers and distributors.”
Made from 100 percent pure grain, ERISTOFF is triple distilled using the original recipe created in 1806 by noble Prince Eristoff of present day Georgia. Adhering to the noblest traditions of vodka making, the liquid is filtered through hardwood charcoal to create an exceptionally pure, smooth spirit.
A leader in both quality and taste, ERISTOFF is available in three varieties: ERISTOFF Original (80 proof), ERISTOFF Red (40 proof) and ERISTOFF Black (40 proof).
ERISTOFF Original is an ideal selection for shot drinks and for sipping on the rocks. Its clean flavor complements a spectrum of traditional and non-traditional mixers and has inspired a dynamic collection of ERISTOFF signature cocktails as intriguing as the vodka’s heritage.
Named for its bright red color and sweet taste of sloe berries, ERISTOFF Red has a fruity, raspberry aroma and robust flavor perfect for juice cocktails, like the ERISTOFF Red and Wild, mixed with pomegranate, and the ERISTOFF Howoo-Howoo, mixed with peach schnapps and cranberry. Dark, rich and ominous, ERISTOFF Black is truly unique spirit named for its bold color and taste of wild berries. Perfectly suited for tonic and lemonade, ERISTOFF Black floats above sugar based mixers to create a dramatic, two-toned layering effect for spectacular cocktail presentations, like the ERISTOFF Black Night, mixed with Crème de Casis and lemonade.
For a true taste of the “Land of the Wolf,” the ERISTOFF Wolf Breeze made with ERISTOFF Original is a white-as-snow cocktail highlighted with blood-red currants. Other signature cocktails include the ERISTOFF Red and Wild, prepared with ERISTOFF Red mixed with pomegranate juice and the ERISTOFF Black Night, made with ERISTOFF Black mixed with Crème de Casis and lemonade.
ERISTOFF is available in a full range of sizes: 1.75 liter (SRP $23.99), 1.0 liter (SRP $16.99), 750 ml (SRP $13.99), 350 ml (SRP $9.99), 200 ml (SRP $5.99) and 50 ml (SRP $1.49).
ERISTOFF Vodka is the 2008 Gold Medal recipient of the International Spirits Challenge and has been awarded the Silver Medal three consecutive years beginning in 2007 from the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
