Sundowner Over Havana

The longest day of the year is upon us and we’ve got the cocktail that will keep you sipping through sundown. Bask in the extra hours of sunlight on June 21st with BACARDI rum’s unique summer solstice cocktail crafted by BACARDI brand master apprentice, April Wachtel.

With a nod to BACARDI rum’s Cuban roots, Wachtel created the “Sundowner over Havana,” an adaptation of the classic ‘Hotel Nacional’ cocktail, named after the famous hotel in Havana.

Sundowner over Havana

Ingredients:

• Bacardi Superior 1.5 Parts
• Fresh Pineapple Juice 2.0 Parts
• Sorel Liqueur .75 Parts
• Fresh Lemon Juice .50 Parts

Preparation: Build in a cocktail shaker and dry shake. Add ice, then shake again. Pour in a tall glass over ice and garnish with a Pineapple slice or leaves. Enjoy!
