Regent Cocktail Club’s Piña Colada
By Adam Rains
Regent Cocktail Club’s Piña Colada is a slight variation of the original 1954 Piña Colada from the Caribe Hilton Beachcomber Bar in San Juan Puerto Rico. Regent Cocktail Club’s Piña Colada is concocted by critically acclaimed head bartender John Lermayer, a finalist for this year’s American Bartender of the Year. For the 2013 Tales of the Cocktail Spirit Awards, Lermayer has selected this classic cocktail to celebrate the season.
“The Piña Colada is the greatest summer drink ever made.” – John Lermayer
