Margaritas from Trouble’s Trust at The New York Palace
By Adam Rains
Arriba! Abajo! Al centro! Pa’ dentro! Celebrate National Margarita Day (February 22) with exquisite cocktails crafted with natural ingredients from Trouble’s Trust in The New York Palace. Not only are these cocktails special because they’re available in the sophisticated and chic bar named after Leona Helmsley’s dog, but they really hit the spot when you’re craving some tequila. For a traditional take, the “Classic Margarita” transports you to Mexico and Texas in the 1940s with the perfect combination of tequila, Cointreau, lime and simple syrup. Those feeling a bit adventurous and looking for a drink with a kick can dabble in the “Spanish Harlem Rose” comprised of tequila, lime, pear ginger vermouth, Caffo Del Capo Amaro, ginger slices and thinly slice serranno chili.
