Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. GREY GOOSE has been a supporter of this event for the past seven years and the Butterfly Ball has raised more than $9 million dollars since its inception in 2002.

The outdoor garden party began with a red carpet and outdoor cocktail reception, where guests enjoyed GREY GOOSE® Le Melon Reviver and GREY GOOSE® Le Melon Melon Mule cocktails. The reception was followed by a sit-down dinner, awards ceremony and live performances by Gavin Rossdale and musical duo Karmin. New Girl’s Max Greenfield, served as Master of Ceremonies and had the crowd roaring with his off color jokes.

Guests in attendance included event co-chair Rebecca Gayheart-Dane and husband Eric Dane, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Diane Kruger, Jordana Brewster, James Van Der Beek, Ben Fedlman, Ben McKenzie, Vin Diesel, Katharine McPhee, Vanna White, Soleil Moon Frye and Balthazar Getty.

This year’s honorees included UTA managing director Jay Sures, Participant Media founder Jeff Skoll and CEO Jim Berk and Chrysalis client Darius Coffey who was presented with the John Dillon award and shared his Chrysalis success story. Named after Chrysalis’ founder, the John Dillon award recognizes an outstanding client who, with the help of the organization, has found success and accomplished their goal of finding and retaining a full-time job.
